Kenneth A. Albright, P.E. Southern Nevada Water Authority

Ken Albright is the director of the Groundwater Resources Department for the Southern Nevada Water Authority. In this capacity he manages and directs a multi-disciplinary team of staff, consultants and agency representatives to ensure stewardship of regional issues including water resource acquisition, environmental compliance, ground-water management, and conservation.
Ken joined the Authority four years ago; previously, he was the assistant director of the Public Works Department and director of the Parks Department for the City of North Las Vegas.
Ken received a civil engineering degree from the University of
Minnesota. His professional associations include the National Society of
Professional Engineers, Nevada Water Resources Association, Colorado
River Basin Salinity Control Forum, Multi-State Salinity Coalition, and
the Colorado Rivers Water Users Association.
He holds professional engineering licenses in Illinois and Nevada.
Ken is married with three sons, and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1989.
