Nevada Water Resources Association
Ken Albright is the director of the Groundwater Resources Department for the Southern Nevada Water Authority. In this capacity he manages and directs a multi-disciplinary team of staff, consultants and agency representatives to ensure stewardship of regional issues including water resource acquisition, environmental compliance, ground-water management, and conservation. Ken joined the Authority four years ago; previously, he was the assistant director of the Public Works Department and director of the Parks Department for the City of North Las Vegas. Ken received a civil engineering degree from the University of
Minnesota. His professional associations include the National Society of
Professional Engineers, Nevada Water Resources Association, Colorado
River Basin Salinity Control Forum, Multi-State Salinity Coalition, and
the Colorado Rivers Water Users Association. Ken is married with three sons, and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1989. |
