Nevada Water Resources Association
“One of the things I value most about the Nevada Water Resources Association is that it brings together people who care deeply about water and are willing to share their time, knowledge, and perspective. In Nevada, water is never a small or simple issue. It connects communities, economies, landscapes, and the future of our state. That is why organizations like NWRA matter. Since 1944, the association has served Nevada’s water community by providing a place for professionals to learn, connect, and stay engaged on the issues shaping water resources across the state.
To me, NWRA has always been about more than a membership list. It is a professional community. It is a place where people from different backgrounds and disciplines can come together, learn from one another, and build relationships that make our work better. The waterSPOT is part of that, but so are the conferences, workshops, webinars, tours, and continuing education opportunities NWRA hosts throughout the year.
If you are already a member, I encourage you to stay involved. Attend an event, sign up for a class, reconnect with colleagues, or introduce someone new to the organization. If you are not yet a member, I hope you will consider joining us. NWRA offers individual, student, organizational, and professional memberships, and membership includes resources like the waterSPOT as well as reduced pricing on events and programs.
NWRA is strongest when people participate. The more we show up, stay engaged, and share what we know, the stronger Nevada’s water community becomes. Thank you for being part of that effort and thank you for the work you do to support Nevada’s water future.”
